dcterms.abstractDirectorial co-ordination of characters lines with their actions and movements on stage are important in the architecture of theatre productions. Notebooks like this in the collection illustrate Musgrove's interpretation of the plays he produced through the lens of staging. The stage directions shown here are from the production of {{A midsummer night's dream}}, Act 3, Scene 2, just after Puck has accidentally put the love juice in Lysander's eyes instead of Demetrius'. Loose notes found with this this book include staging diagrams, a list of required furniture for the production and rough sketches for the set design.en
