Abstract: 'The Arts Foundation New Generation Awards, established in 2006 in partnership with Freemasons New Zealand, celebrates five artists, every two years, who are at an early stage in their career. Each recipient receives $25,000 to contribute to their individual artistic identity and a glasswork designed by Christine Cathie. We?re looking forward to the announcement of five new artists at the end of the year.'
