Abstract:	"Grant Banbury has been involved in the Christchurch art world since the early 1970s in many different roles: as artist, critic, writer, educator, curator and gallerist. In March 2015 he stepped down as president of the Friends of Christchurch Art Gallery: he has been a member of the Friends' Executive Committee since 1998."
