Abstract: | "With twelve exhibitions, nineteen events, three workshops, four publications and collaborations with a diverse range of community organisations, the 2015 public programmes was as dynamic as ever." Programmes discussed include the summer writers residency in collaboration with The Lumiere Reader and Aquinas College; the online publication 'Llyr', a collaboration between Hera Lindsay Bird and Ella Knapton; 'The Presence of Absence' a publication by Brendan Jon Philips and Son La Pham; The performance 'Instore Makeovers' as part of iD2K16'; educational workshops 'Whakaanga me Whakawhiti \ Engagement and Exchange' and 'I will need words'; the 'Emerging Curators Programme'; 'The Book Project'; and an international conference presented by the Department of Media, Film and Communication at Otago University entitled, 'trans/forming feminisms'. |
