dc.description.abstractPaintings by Tom Kreisler (1938-2002) are presented in the exhibition 'Two to Tango', curated by Wystan Curnow, at SoFA Gallery (Christchurch) and Bowerbank Ninow (Auckland). Curnow, in his accompanying essay, discusses Kreisler's use of a dog motif in his paintings, his experiences with tango dancing in Argentina, and argues for Kriesler's place "in any serious history of New Zealand art."-
