dc.description.abstract"Stepping into 'Oceanic feeling', the sound and heat of the city retreated behind the gallery's doors as I entered Sriwhana Spong and Maria Taniguchi's recent exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) Singapore. The sprawling bareness of the space lent the exhibition an ascetic holy quality, and I could easily have been forgiven for thinking that I was in a place of worship - rather than a modern gallery."-
