A discussion by senior curator Justin Paton around the role of shyness in the sculptures of Ron Mueck. Paton considers the shyness of the sculptures key to the works themselves which describe the mysterious threshold between the way we look to the world and the way we feel to ourselves. In order to support his argument, Paton analyses several key sculptures included in the Ron Mueck exhibition.-
