Abstract: | New Zealand has been growing Kiwifruit (Chinese gooseberry) for over 100 years. New Zealand dominated the production of the fruit, but since the early 1990s it lost ground to foreign producers and lost control of the intellectual property related to its production. Zespri, kiwifruit growers and the New Zealand Kiwifruit Marketing Board re engineered the fruit and began a huge marketing campaign in the early 2000s. Includes questions for dicussion |
