Title: Navman : Finding the way to global growth
Issue Date:  3
Publisher: McGraw Hill
Abstract: Technological innovation is a key theme in the Navman case. Navman manufactures navigation and Global Positioning System (GPS) devices for marine, land, and mobile data applications. As the company grew and developed they faced a variety of different challenges and issues. Early issues included over-reliance upon a single customer and the need for more capital for rapid growth and development. Some of these early issues resulted in loss of jobs and heartache for managers, but lessons were learned and the company survived these difficult times to become one of New Zealand's most successful global manufacturers
