Abstract: | Profiles two artists working with collage, George Hajian, a doctoral candidate at Elam School of Fine arts and Teresa HR Lane, who is embarking on a Master's this year, also at Elam. Hajian's work focuses on the preformative aspects of masculinity drawing on imagery from adult magazines, vintage sports and bodybuilding publications, as well as the artist's own screen-prints. Lane, combines painting, photography and drawing with cut-outs from magazines. |
