Abstract: Discusses artist Robyn Hughes' research into the Battle of Passchendale, through texts and eye witness accounts. Describes the exhibition 'Home Front to Frontline - Passchendale' which includes work in response to Hughes' research, commemorating the New Zealand men and their stories and the support of women back home. Hughes' responds to questions about her latest exhibition as well as a separate project running classes with inmates at Auckland's Paremoremo Prison. Hughes talks to her research process and mentions key texts and resources including the Auckland Museum's archive.
