Abstract: | This article features a conversation between the collective Uniform and Ioana Gordon-Smith. The group discuss their methods of collaboration and research processes, which include sourcing images from Digital NZ and utilising a collage aesthetic. Describes recent exhibitions at Rockies, Te Uru and Blue Oyster, which include interventions to the gallery spaces. The group describe their connection to a community of experimental musicians in Auckland and Dunedin, and how a sense of place informs their work. |
