Abstract: | Speaks to the exhibition 'Geophagy' (2017) by Dr Ruth Watson which includes work produced by Watson during her residency at the Headland Centre of the Arts in San Francisco in 2015. Examines the title 'Geophagy' meaning "eating the earth" referring to the impact of excessive consumption on the environment and natural resources. Reveals Watson as the inaugural artist for the University's new 'Creative Arts Science Collaboration (CASC)'. Details the collaboration between Watson and neuropsychologist Professor Donna Rose Addis. |
