Abstract: | Curator Bruce E Phillips reflects on his travels to Edinbugh, Kassel and Münster. Very briefly mentions an installation at Edinburgh by Shannon Te Ao entitled 'With the sun aglow, I have my pensive moods'. Discusses the work by Mata Aho Collective at documenta 14 entitled 'Kiko Moana' (2017) and the accompanying online component, 'Taniwha Tails'. Considers work at the exhibition by international artists including Naeem Mohaiemen and Douglas Gordon and at Skulptur Projekte Münster examines work by Ayse Erkman and Pierre Huyghe. |
