Abstract: | Reports that Stevei Houkamau, who "applies pattern to clay (uku) in a way that closely resembles the art of ta moko" and is one of eight artists in the Whenua Hou: New Māori Ceramicists exhibition, is offering a workshop in which participants will create small vessels called ipu out of raku clay and decorate them with Māori and Pacific-inspired designs. |
