Reviews Elfi Spiewack's exhibition 'In Splendour Moot, Adornment Re-Framed' 2017-2018, which features carved bone jewellery works and framed portraits sourced from the digitised collections of major international institutes. Reflects on the artist's use of bone necklaces in 'The Flock', in relation to the "ubiquity of livestock" and "the colonial agricultural history of Ashburton". Considers the use of portraits from Renaissance, Baroque, and Victorian periods.-
