Discusses installation work by Michael Stevenson in relation to The Auckland Art Gallery audience and recent public funding issue. Mentions tech mogul Peter Thiel in relation to both works. Author reflects on the composition techniques of work in 'The Burning Hours' by Kushana Bush, and the use of scale and space in the installation work 'Petrified at the instant of a change of wind' by Patrick Lundberg.
