dc.description2 colour. Includes installation views-
Article considers three exhibitions in Dunedin 2017-2018. Discusses installations by artists Peter Walsh and Glen Hayward, and their respective use of sculpture and sound. Considers use of installation materials including mundane everyday objects: a Toyota Corolla; cigarette butts; galvanised steel buckets, and natural materials like wood; animal skulls; snails; water; clay, and black ink on raw linen. Article discusses curators Robyn Notman and Andrea Bell's reuse of 'the merrier' (2017) at the Hocken, and how it ties in with succeeding exhibition 'Continuity & Change'.-
