Abstract: Article discusses 'Face', a collaborative musical and visual work by Harris and O'Sullivan, inspired by the 'Veterans' series of Barry Cleavin and New Zealand WWI plastic surgeon Sir Harold Gillies. Article discusses the work's New Zealand premiere involving Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra accompanied by a film created by Gruchy based on the Cleavin image, to be followed by the BBC Symphony Orchestra London Premiere accompanied by John Adams work 'The Wound Dresser'.
