Abstract: Article reviews the exhibition 'The Caerulean Blue Room' at Tim Melville, and reflects on the show's "resolving material and colour concerns" which Dwyer began during his MFA at Elam. Includes discussion of sculptural works, which act "as a springboard into the perception of virtual reality", and paintings, with mention of the artist's renowned plaster and cedar 'stain' works. Mentions Dwyer's fascination "by the way we experience colour in the digital age".
