Discusses the artist's "return to the formal investigations of his early practice and education", including "less complicated delights in scale, in everyday materials, and in the potential for the unexpected in spatial exploration." Mentions reference to a fellow Ilam graduate Barnard McIntyre, as well as a return to his own art history in relation to his wire curls and use of grids.
