dc.description.abstractArticle speaks to a new documentary from VICE showcasing Auckland art collective FAFSWAG, a collective of queer indigenous creatives founded five years ago to create an empowered space for takatāpui and fa'afafine (transgender, gender-fluid and queer) urban Pacific people in Aotearoa New Zealand. Includes discussion of the group's events 'Disruption Vogue Ball' at Artspace, and the first FAFSWAG ball held at Te Puke o Tara Community Centre in Ōtara.-
