Abstract:	Review of 'Wi Taepa: Retrospective' at Auckland Art Gallery in partnership with Pataka Art + Museum and curated by Nigel Borell. Reflects on the history of Lapita in the Western and South Pacific, and discusses the continued research of this matauranga (knowledge) in Aotearoa by Māori ceramic artists and collectives.
