Abstract

Designline is a bus and coach company co-founded by John Turton and his brother-in-law. The company has a strong and inclusive work culture and staff are assigned specific tasks to ensure quality in workmanship. Designline often supports ex-employees who open specialist workshops to which the company outsources jobs. This enables Designline to keep its infrastructure overheads low and maintain a community of support businesses within Ashburton. The company is looking to expand its international outlook since its involvement in the Sydney Olympics in 2000
