Title: | Tasty Southern Seeds |
Authors: | Ramburuth, Prem Stringer, Christina Serapio, Manuel |
Issue Date: | 22-Nov-2013 |
Abstract: | This case study focuses on the expansion of a small business, based in Otago, that specialises in seasoning mixes. Issues with product availability and quality and experiments with various seed and spice combinations are outlined in terms of marketing and consumer responses. With steady growth in sales, and a desire to expand nationally and internationally, 'Tasty Southern Seeds' needed to invest in manufacturing equipment and secure reliable product wholesalers in order to expand. This case appears to use a substitute company name for the purpose of confidentiality. Note: Includes questions for discussion |
