Abstract

In early November 1993, A.E. (“Tony”) Falkenstein, CEO of Red Eagle Corporation, was busy finalising arrangements for the grand opening of the firm’s new headquarters in Onehunga, Auckland, New Zealand. The facility would permit co-location of his three lines of business: fax machine sales and leasing, business records management, and water cooler sales and leasing. How was he to manage innovation?
