Abstract: | [This case is restricted, please contact the Business Case Centre] This case looks at innovation in the furniture manufacturing company, Furnware. The company started in 1935 as a French polishing furniture workshop, expanding in product range to include the manufacture of rifle butts and army furniture, school furniture, kitchen units and caravans. The company’s diverse range of products and broad market attracted interest from several private investment companies, and was purchased by Brierley Investments Limited (BIL) in 1973 |
