dc.description.abstractAsian (Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Cambodian) apprentices make up 0.7% of the BCITO trainee numbers. This is significantly less than the built environment average of 4% which is half the total representation of the NZ workforce at 8%. Asians are a growing part of the New Zealand population.
