Reviews an exhibition of photographic work by Laurence Aberhart at Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwetu entitled 'Aberhart Starts Here', 15 September to 5 February 2018. Describes the content of the exhibition, curated by Lara Strongman, which focuses on the years 1975-83 when the artist was living in and around Christchurch.
