Reflects on Winter's video-based work speaking to the story of Dr Hjelmar von Danneville, and includes a discussion of gender, identity and transgression. Mentions 1986 exhibition 'Karanga Karanga' as a space for Māori women artists, with a quote from Merata Mita. |
