Title: | Educated in New Zealand and staying on? A parameter simulation analysis |
Keywords: | New Zealand Education International students |
Issue Date: | 16-May-2014 |
Abstract: | This article tries to reveal why international students studying in New Zealand intend to stay in NZ or to return to their home after their study, using simulations of parameters obtained from a multinomial logit model. Surprisingly, good perceptions on wage competitiveness do not appear to be a predominant reason behind the probability of remaining in NZ or returning home. |
